The Wisconsin Office of Rural Health (WORH) just announced a grant of $15,000 to the Ministry Door County Medical Center (MDCMC) Dental Clinic. The funds from WORH will help support the expansion of the dental clinic from three days of service each week to four days. The funding provided by the Wisconsin Office of Rural Health is through the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Program.
“We are very grateful to receive such a generous grant from the Wisconsin Office of Rural Health. There is such an overwhelming need of oral health care to those that are on Medicaid and /or low income. This grant will help us to continue our mission to help those that are in need,” said Tanya Fischer, manager of the MDCMC Dental Clinic.
MDCMC Dental Clinic also received a $3,000 grant from the Brown-Door-Kewaunee Dental Society for its expansion of services.
