Door County Community News: Electronic Collection Event Scheduled

The County of Door will be hosting drop off centers where residents may recycle outdated, broken, or unwanted household electronics. This event is for residential households only, no commercial, governmental, or institutional materials will be accepted.

Drop off centers will be open on the following dates and locations, during the hours of 7:30 am – 3 pm:

• October 27 – 30, 2008 – Highway Department Facility, 1001 S. Duluth Ave, Sturgeon Bay

• October 28, 2008 – Highway Department Facility, 147 Highway 57, Sister Bay

• October 29, 2008 – Highway Department Facility, 1729 CTH DK, Brussels

There will be no charge for accepted items, and limits will be imposed for the number items brought to the event by each residential household. This event is being held utilizing funds from the State of Wisconsin, Department of Natural Resources Recycling Grants.
