Door County Library Joins Nationwide Programming Celebrating Moon Landing

Door County Library has joined more than 16,000 libraries nationwide to participate in the summer learning program A Universe of Stories, which coincides with NASA’s 60 years of achievement and the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing. Plans include many STEAM activities and training opportunities.

Door County Library will offer many public programs to deliver the excitement of STEAM to children, teens and adults, including visits with the mobile planetarium and UW-Madison astronomers, and science experiments with space themes.

Everyone who joins the summer reading program is encouraged to read for 15 minutes a day between June 1 and Aug. 31 and may win book and gift-certificate prizes for reading.
