Door County Rib Fest Planned for October 3

Neighbor-to-Neighbor Volunteer Caregivers of Door County is sponsoring the inaugural Door County Rib Fest on Saturday, October 3 from 4 – 8 pm at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Sturgeon Bay.

Community members are invited to taste the submissions and vote for their favorite in each category. Trophies will be awarded to the winner in each division.

Tickets for the event are $15 for adults and $5 for ages 12 and under. Included in the ticket price is a meal of ribs, cole slaw, baked beans, and rolls. A DJ and silent auction will also be part of the evening.

Proceeds from this event benefit Neighbor-to-Neighbor Volunteer Caregivers, a volunteer organization that strives to comfort and assist individuals experiencing deterioration in their quality of life. The group depends on the community’s financial support to continue its efforts. The agency is completely funded by donations and grants.
