Door County YMCA Thanks Angels from Angel Tree Program

The Door County YMCA would like to thank all of the generous “angels” that helped make Christmas merry and bright for 118 children in the Door County community. The YMCA hosted its second annual Angel Tree program this past December. In just under ten days, more than 100 generous individuals selected ornaments from angel trees placed in the Northern Door and Sturgeon Bay program centers. Each ornament listed the age, gender, and a gift wish list for a child in the community. The angels purchased gifts for the children and the gifts were returned, wrapped and ready to be placed under Christmas trees in the homes of local families.
