Big Plant Visits Peninsula Preschool

For Arbor Day, Door County’s Big Plant visited the Peninsula Preschool in Ephraim to share the planting and care of trees with the 3K and 4K children. Jeff Lutsey and Cindy Nelson demonstrated how to plant red pine, white pine and balsam fir trees on the grounds of the preschool which is located in the basement of the Ephraim Administrative Building. Each child was given a small tree seedling to bring home and plant in their yard.
