Dr. Eric Paulsen Completes American Board of Optometry Certification

J. Eric Paulsen, O.D., of Door County Eye Associates has successfully completed board certification and is now a Diplomat of the American Board of Optometry. The certification process allows doctors of optometry to demonstrate that they exceed entry-level requirements and are maintaining the appropriate knowledge, skills and experience needed to deliver quality eyecare.

The board certification process also requires participating in an on-going educational program that demonstrates Dr. Paulsen’s commitment to lifelong learning. The maintenance of certification requires completing approved education, computer assessments, practice improvement exercises and periodic exams to demonstrate competence.
