Early Farm Market Plant Sale at Settlement Shops

A local landscaping company will bring shrubs and flowering crab trees to the early farm market plant sale at the Settlement Shops on May 25, 9:30 am – 1:30 pm. Vendors will also offer annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, herbs, flowers and young vegetable plants ready for the garden.

Other items at the farm market include: fresh baked bread, jam, marinated olives, handmade taffy, organic veggies, alpaca products made by locally grown alpaca and fertilizer. Rumor has it that the alpaca hopes to make an appearance at the market.

New for this season, Sweetie Pies will sell quiche for lunch to be enjoyed outdoors.

Also at the Settlement Shops on May 25, Great Northern by Design will host an artist painting demonstration. Artist Kathleen Nelson will create a new work from 11 am – 12:30 pm. Izora’s Beads will also have a craft book sale at the same time on their porch.

The market will be canceled if stormy. The regular Wednesday market, to be held 9:30 am – 1:30 pm, at the Settlement Shops begins June 12. For more information call 920.868.4135.
