Edgewood Orchard Galleries Host Season-Closing Reception

Edgewood Orchard Galleries, 4140 Peninsula Players Road in Fish Creek, will host a thank-you reception Oct. 26 and 27, 10 am – 5 pm, before the galleries close for the 2019 season Oct. 27 at 5 pm. Enjoy refreshments and hors d’oeuvres, and browse the indoor and outdoor art offerings.

This also marks the end of the season’s final exhibit, Gifts from the Heart: a group show of artwork that’s especially good for gift giving. Smaller paintings and other holiday-themed pieces, along with free holiday gift wrapping, are available.

Irene Haberland and her daughter Anne opened Edgewood Orchard Galleries in 1969, and now Anne’s daughter and son-in-law, Nell and J.R. Jarosh, own and operate the galleries. Recognized nationally for their exhibits of outstanding artwork in all media, the main gallery resides in a restored stone fruit barn built in 1918.
