Egg Harbor Holds Pre-construction Meeting for Next Phase of Highway Project

The Village of Egg Harbor will host a pre-construction meeting to review various aspects of the next phase of its Highway 42 construction project. The meeting will be held Thursday, March 7 at 6 pm at the Kress Pavilion. It will also be available via Zoom using Meeting ID: 880 8560 7690. Representatives from the Village’s project team and Vinton Construction Company will be available to answer questions. 

The meeting will review the project schedule, access during construction, and other details related to the project will be held with businesses, residents, and property owners.

Road construction began in January from South Trail to Harbor School Road and County E to Church Street. The next project segment will take place in the core of the village from Harbor School Road to County E and construction is slated to begin Monday, March 11.
 
The existing road closure and detour will remain in effect. Access to homes, businesses, and public facilities will be provided, however, delays should be expected. All motorists and pedestrians are advised to use caution through this area and/or utilize other routes when possible. The contractor for the project is Vinton Construction Company of Two Rivers.
