Egg Harbor Public Arts Initiative’s Celebrate Sculpture 2018

From now through October, the Public Arts Initiative (PAI) of Egg Harbor showcases nine original sculptural works by Wisconsin artists for their second annual outdoor exhibit, Celebrate! Sculpture 2018. Pick up a curated map at the Egg Harbor Visitor Center.

“The Truth of Geometry” by sculptor Teresa Lind can be found at Harborview Park. She is an internationally accomplished metal casting and mixed media sculptor who will host a community iron pour at the Peninsula School of Art this October.

“Harbor Moon,” a powder coated steel and three-form resin plastic piece by Adam Meurer, was curated specifically for the view overlooking the bay at Harborview Park. As you walk around it, the sculpture mirrors the ever-changing perspectives and shapes of the moon and the water.

All sculptures will be for sale. Thirty percent of the sale benefits the PAI, with a portion of the funds used for future purchases of permanent art for public spaces in Egg Harbor.
