Egg Harbor’s Main Street Shops Celebrate 30 Years

The Main Street Shops, located in downtown Egg Harbor, celebrate 30 years of being in business as Egg Harbor’s indoor shopping mall. The Main Street Shops is doing business in the similar fashion of its inception 30 years ago. They opened their doors in 1988 and were filled to capacity.

Main Street Shops retail mall consists of three separate contemporary styled buildings. They total 23 retail condo units occupied by 20 businesses. Main Street Shops offer a high-quality, diversified shopping experience and spa/hair salon for all members of the family.

Portside Builders of Sturgeon Bay designed and built this complex. Fran Shefchik of Portside Builders, expressed two important factors that were recognized and felt to be very important and key to the mall’s success: “Multiple shops located in one area supported by ample and convenient parking will make an anticipated shopping experience easy and enjoyable.”

The owners of the Main Street Shops welcome the community to Egg Harbor’s mid-town, year-round shopping complex.
