Activities at the Park
July 28, 2017
3-5pm. Drop In. Drop by to see the naturalist at the Park Office to learn all about the Great Horned Owl. Find out what makes it unique, and what exactly those “horns” are for. Free. Park vehicle sticker required.
7pm. Guided Hike. The park naturalist leads a guided 2.5 mile hike. Learn natural and cultural history of the park, geology, biology and plant ID. Remember insect repellent and water; dress in layers and good shoes. Meet in Parking Area #3. Free. Park vehicle sticker required.
