Activities at the Park

August 17, 2018

4-5pm. Camouflage. Meet at the Nature Center for a brief talk on how different animals defend themselves and see examples of how animals use camouflage. Afterwards go into the woods and play a few games to see how good you are at camouflaging yourself. Free. Park vehicle sticker required.

7-8:30pm. Community Campfire. Bring a chair or blanket. Park Naturalist supplies the stories, songs, and fire; you supply the s’mores. Meet at the shoreline area across from the campground shelter. Held in campground shelter if raining. Free. Park vehicle sticker required.
