Activities at Newport State Park

10am. Nature Journaling: All About Butterflies. Everyone welcome, no writing or drawing skills necessary. Materials provided or you can bring your own journal. Meet at the Nature Center, Lot 1. 1pm. Monarch Watch. Look for monarchs in their beginning stages and collect them so they can be protected during their metamorphosis then released. See the active monarch nursery. Meet outside the Nature Center.
