10am. Family Program. “Fit the Bill.” Learners of all ages are welcome to participate in this hands-on demonstration showing how birds use their bills as tools. Held in the lab of the Collins Learning Center. Free.
7pm. Educational Presentation. “Safe Lawns,” presented by Patrick Fitzgerald. Review best practices for natural or organic lawn care, and encourage lawn replacement or reduction to reduce the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. With a Q&A.
