9:30am. Mushroom Hike with Charlotte Lukes. Lukes has been studying wild mushrooms for 40 years and she loves to share her knowledge. Meet in the Nature Center; hike to follow.
7pm. Universe in the Park. Join guest astronomers from UW-Madison for a PowerPoint presentation and a chance to view the night skies through a high-powered telescope. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, flashlights or headlamps with a red lens (protects night vision). Meet at Lot 3, follow path to shelter building. Free. State park vehicle sticker required.
