Exhibit II Opening Reception and Nachreiner Demo at Edgewood Orchard Galleries

“Morning Drink” by Tom Nachreiner.

Edgewood Orchard Galleries will host the Exhibit II reception on June 15, 4 – 7 pm. Edgewood Orchard’s Exhibit II features the artwork of oil painters Tom Nachreiner and Leslie Wu, wood worker Richard Bronk, lamp and fine home furnishing creators Janna Ugone and Justin Thomas, and jeweler Leda Rawlins. The artists will give short talks about their artwork at 5 pm in the gallery courtyard.

After spending his earlier years as a nationally known figurative illustrator, more recent years have afforded Nachreiner the privilege of a fine art rebirth, painting from his heart “en plein air” and conducting year round workshops.

On June 16, 1 – 3 pm, Nachreiner will demonstrate his plein air oil painting process in the courtyard. Due to his experience as both a painter and instructor who conducts year round painting workshops, Nachreiner’s painting demonstrations and lively and informative for all who attend.

The serenity in Wu’s work shows through in her words about her work. “I cannot explain what it is about the water in which I am immersed that helps define who I am. My work is about distilling the essence of this affinity with the water and expressing a connection between spirituality and place.”

Now an accomplished and successful jeweler, Rawlins took the road less traveled to get to this point. “From sculpting bodies as a personal fitness trainer to designing wardrobes as a fashion consultant, I was creating and didn’t realize it. This was my new path to journey on.”

The tables, chairs and sculptural pieces by woodworker Bronk have impressed Edgewood visitors for several decades, and a new collection of beautifully crafted designs will be part of the feature exhibit.

Designers Ugone and Thomas, from Easthampton, Mass., will share a selection of lamps, tables and original paintings. “With a promise of craftsmanship and philosophy of timeless design and originality, we hope our home collection speaks volumes to our versatile and loyal audience,” say Ugone & Thomas.

Exhibit II will be displayed until July 3. Edgewood Orchard Galleries is located at 4140 Peninsula Players Road, midway between Egg Harbor and Fish Creek. For more information, call 920.868.3579 or visit
