Fall-prevention Workshop Offered at St. John Lutheran Church

The Aging & Disability Resource Center of the Lakeshore and St. John Lutheran Church in Algoma will offer the falls-prevention workshop Stepping On each Tuesday, Aug. 17 – Sept. 28, 10 am – 12 pm. Attendance at all seven sessions is highly encouraged because each one builds on previous skills acquired. Advance registration is required.

Stepping On is a fun, interactive, evidence-based falls-prevention program led by trained leaders to educate participants and build confidence. Local guest experts also provide information about exercise, vision, safety and medications.A suggested donation of $10 is collected at the first class to help defray the cost of class materials.
