Feed & Clothe My People 2014 Success

Feed & Clothe My People provided 154 free winter coats to local kids in 2014 through the Coats For Kids Program. Door County residents donated the majority of the coats. More than 100 families were given Thanksgiving Dinners in 2014 and more than 100 families received gifts, hams and gift cards at Christmas. Free clothing was given last year through Feed & Clothe My People to 26 clients who were in emergency conditions. The Backpack Buddy Program gives a weekly lunch bag of snacks to 379 children during the school year who qualify for free or reduced lunch. Recycled items are brought to 204 N. 14th Ave. in Sturgeon Bay during regular business hours at the door marked Donations in the back.
