Fine Art Fair at the Door County Outpost Gallery and Café

Over 25 of the regions top artists will be displaying their work at the Door County Outpost Gallery & Café on Pumpkin Patch weekend, Oct. 11 and 12.

Located just a half mile south of Egg Harbor, the Outpost lawns will be transformed into a colorful outdoor gallery, featuring a wide range of art media including ceramics, digital art, fiber art, hand blown glass, jewelry, wood sculpture, pottery, paintings and much more.

“The Outpost continues to build on its theme as the area’s first and foremost ‘Art Café,’ and this weekend will see the coming together of the visual, culinary and performing arts, providing the public with two full days of activities to satiate the appetite of even the most avid art enthusiast,” says café and gallery owner Susan Hruza.

Fine art, delicious grilled food and outstanding live music are not the only activities on offer to the public. Wine tasting sessions will be held throughout the weekend, and on Saturday evening the public is invited to “meet and greet” the artists and sample complimentary hors d’oeuvres at an indoor artists reception. Following the reception will be an acoustic blues concert featuring the music of popular local musicians Bryan Koenig, Jay Whitney, Richard Whitney and Pete Thelen, brought to you as Dr. Freeze and The Cool Cats.

“Rain or shine, we will be providing a full schedule of art related entertainment and activities, along with a great opportunity for our visitors to meet with local artists and share in their creativity,” said Hruza.
