Fire House Hosts Open House

The Sister Bay and Liberty Grove Fire Department will host their very first open house in celebration of its 10-year residence in the “new” fire station. The open house is scheduled for 11 am – 3 pm on Sept. 13 at the station located at 2258 Mill Road, Sister Bay.

Finger food and beverages are free to all attendees, and the general public is welcome. There will be ongoing fire station tours, fire-fighting equipment and apparatus displays, information about Northern Door fire prevention initiatives, community CPR information, a fire extinguisher safety demonstration, and public safety displays by local representatives of the U.S. Coast Guard, Emergency Medical Services, Door County Sheriff’s Department, Department of Natural Resources, and Door County Emergency Services.
