First Mud Run in Door County

If you see muddy, wet people on May 23, congratulate them, they just ran Door’s Dirty 5K mud run. On Saturday, HELP of Door County and Team Leadership Center will host the first and only mud run in Door County.

“We are really excited about this event, particularly because it is unique from other mud runs,” says Ursula Bunnell Timreck, executive director of HELP of Door County. “While people are running the course, Team Leadership Center is offering $10 zip lines that go over the course, so it provides an aerial view of the whole event.”

Teams and individuals can still register at doorcountysdirty5k.com. Spectators are encouraged to come out and cheer everyone on and even book a zip line. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Bunnell continues, “We’ve gotten a lot of support from local businesses and we are so grateful. This is our biggest fundraiser, and I think people are going to have a blast!”
