Fish Tales Series Presents “Environmental DNA” Lecture Feb. 24

The next installment of the Fish Tales lecture series will take place Feb. 24, 7 pm, when Cari-Ann Hayer will present “Environmental DNA (eDNA) as a Tool to Detect the Arrival of Invasive Carp in the Lake Michigan Basin.” Hayer is a fisheries biologist and program manager of the Aquatic Invasive Species Detection and Monitoring Program of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. This will be an in-person lecture, but a virtual option is also available by visiting the calendar on the Door County Library’s website, where the link will be posted Feb. 24.

Masks are recommended inside buildings at Crossroads at Big Creek, 2041 Michigan St. in Sturgeon Bay.
