Flu Clinic Dec. 10

Door County Public Health is offering an additional flu vaccine clinic Thursday, Dec. 10 from 12 pm – 4:30 pm at the Sturgeon Bay Fire Department. 

The vaccine is available free to the following individuals:

• Children ages 6 months-18 years regardless of  insurance
• Adults who do not have insurance or whose  insurance does not cover the flu vaccine 

Insurance can be billed for the following individuals:

• Adults who have Traditional Medicare Part B,  Humana Advantage Plan or United Healthcare  (please bring your insurance card with you). 

The vaccine is also available to anyone who does not fit  in one of these categories for $39 (Checks or  exact cash only).

Flu shots should be deferred for persons with  suspected or confirmed COVID-19, regardless of  symptoms, until criteria have been met for them  to discontinue isolation. While mild illness is not a contraindication to vaccination, vaccination visits for these individuals should be postponed to avoid exposing  healthcare personnel and other patients to the virus that  causes COVID-19.
