“Fun with Fermentation” at Glas

The Center for Optimal Health announces a new health education series starting this month at Glas Coffeehouse, 67 East Maple St., Sturgeon Bay. The first in the series, “Fun with Fermentation,” is Oct. 15, 5:30 – 7 pm. The class is dedicated to teaching about the health benefits of fermented foods, including demonstrations on how to prepare and make fermented goods at home. November’s class will be “Environment and Toxicity in Women’s Health.”

The Center for Optimal Health is located in Sturgeon Bay in the Fairfield Building on South 3rd Ave. and Michigan St. Owner and clinician Dr. Nicole James is a functional medicine practitioner whose focus is to discover underlying causes of disease and illness through advanced, science-based testing, diet and lifestyle changes.
