Gibraltar’s Girl Scout Troop Earns First Aid Badge at Sturgeon Bay Visits

Girl Scout Troop 4369 from Gibraltar Area Schools recently spent the day in Sturgeon Bay earning their First Aid Badge. A trip to the Door County Justice Center and Ministry Door County Medical Center (MDCMC) provided a wealth of information and great learning experiences. The girls were thrilled to work with a deputy to learn about the fingerprinting process and even got to visit the Dispatch Booth. At MDCMC the fourth graders toured the Emergency Department and learned about all the equipment that could be used in a life-threatening event as well as other minor injuries. Both facilities even talked about things the girls could do to help in the case of an emergency.
