Girl Scouts Receive Awards for Community Projects

Gibraltar School District Girl Scout Troops 4356 and 4392 were recognized during the April 17 Girl Scouts of Distinction award ceremony for their community-service projects.

Troop 4356 received the silver award for its project that included building and installing wood duck and kestrel houses for Door County Land Trust properties, as well as painting and refurbishing areas at Camp Cuesta.

Troop 4392 received the bronze award for collecting food and monetary donations to make significant contributions to all of the Northern Door food pantries.
