G&J Offers Stained Glass Classes

G&J Glassworks on Madison Avenue in Sturgeon Bay is offering the next session of beginner stained glass classes, starting Jan. 19 and 21. Students can sign up for either Thursday classes, taking place from 6 – 9 pm, or Saturday classes, taking place from 5 – 8 pm. Courses will run for six weeks.

These classes are for students with little to no experience working with stained glass and will focus on the copper foil technique, which is the most widely used style today.

The tuition for the course is $185 and includes use of all tools, equipment, and materials needed to complete projects. At the end of the course participants will take home a finished stained glass piece as well as the knowledge needed to continue the hobby on their own.
