Grand Opening Celebration at Nor Door YMCA

The Door County YMCA welcomes all community members and visitors to a grand opening celebration of the newly expanded and renovated Northern Door Program Center in Fish Creek on June 18. This will be a free community day at the Northern Door Center from 7 am – 3 pm. Special events are planned from 10 am – 1 pm to highlight all of the hard work and generosity of many donors in our community. There will be a bounce house, meet and greet tours with staff and board members and a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 am. Come enjoy a tour, savor some light refreshments and be a part of history as the YMCA officially opens the facility and celebrates the success of a $2.7 million capital campaign. The Door County YMCA is now working to secure the final $100,000 in gifts and pledges to fully complete the renovation project.
