Grilling Artists at the Landmark Resort

National grilling artists Mad Dog & Merrill, were on-location at the Landmark Resort in Egg Harbor on June 22 filming a segment of their new television series called Mad Dog & Merrill’s Midwest Grill’n. It’s Grillology 101!

The show features food and beverage preparation, recipes and product samples, factory tours and interviews with the individuals behind the products. The well-known “Grillologists” utilized their enthusiasm and humor to entertain and educate viewers on food preparation while featuring the Landmark Resort and Door County. All their grilling recipes keep with their motto: “If you can cook it, you can grill it.”

The Duct Tape Guys, Tim Nyberg and Jim Berg, were special guests for the segment, and yes, they found wacky uses for duct tape even in food preparation. The Duct Tape Guys have dedicated their lives to duct tape. The authors of six books documenting hundreds of real and unique uses for duct tape, the duo is constantly on the lookout for creative uses of “the ultimate power tool.”

Thirteen episodes of Mad Dog & Merrill’s Midwest Grill’n will be produced and air on Sunday mornings from 9:30 – 10 am beginning August 2010 through January 2011 on CW stations across the state of Wisconsin.
