Halloween Fundraiser Held at Mr. G’s on Oct. 27

A Halloween-themed fundraiser supporting local resident Devon Prust-Soukup will take place at Fernwood Gardens Ballroom at Mr. G’s on Oct. 27. The community is invited for an evening of live music, raffles and fun while raising money to help support her family while she recovers from a devastating illness.

After a torn vertebral artery dissection, Prust-Soukup suffered from a debilitating stroke with long-term effects and rising medical costs. Due to the nature of the residual symptoms, she is still undergoing medical treatment and therapies and is unable to work consistently to help support her family of five and pay her growing medical bills.

“We are so fortunate to live in such a supportive community,” said Devon’s sister, Fawn Fitzgerald. “We are hoping our community can come together to support Devon and her family while they work to overcome this setback.”

The fundraiser starts at 4 pm and includes live music from Papa Rick’s Chicks. The event also includes food, bucket raffles, silent and live auctions, a cake walk, and kid’s games. Guests are encouraged to come in costume and participate in the costume contest.

Donations to the raffles are still being accepted and any individual or business interested in donating can contact Wendy at 920.495.7616 or Dawn at 920.493.0733. Monetary donations can be made at Nicolet Bank to “Devon-Prust Soukup Benefit Fund.”
