Handcrafted Tables at Jacksonport Craft Cottage

The Jacksonport Craft Cottage showcases many area craftsmen and offers a variety of handcrafted gifts in fiber, wood and glass. Lee St. John, who creates small, decorative tables in a variety of styles and sizes, is featured in early March.

One of Lee’s creations is a 13 x 18 inch decorative, two-level table made from recycled wood and glass. The wood used for the tabletop is from a 150-year-old home in Jacksonport that Lee recycled after a remodeling project. The old nail holes and distressed wood gives a weathered feel to the table and is Lee’s specialty.

The glass portion of the table is made from two different plates to create the central pattern and color design. This one-of-a-kind table is a decorative piece and could be used as a side table in any area of the home.

Jacksonport Craft Cottage is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 9 am – 5 pm. Call 920.823.2288 to stop in at anytime.
