A group of Door County classical musicians will perform at 2 pm on Sunday, Nov. 28 at Hope United Church of Christ. Cellist Kim Souther, and violinists Beth Chafey-Hon and Dani Simandl, will join pianist David Beck in a lively, passionate program to benefit The Door County String Academy, a non-profit organization furthering the education of young string players.
The concert will include works by Hadyn, Smetana, Rachmaninov, Franck and Liszt, Bach, and Mark O’Connor.
A reception and silent auction featuring tickets from various Door County arts organizations will be held immediately following the concert. A free-will offering will be taken.
The Hope United Church of Christ is located at 141 S. 12th Avenue in Sturgeon Bay.
