Inaugural Stella Maris Feast Day is May 7

The community is invited to the first annual Stella Maris Feast Day celebration on May 7, 4:30 – 5:30 pm, at the Baileys Harbor site. It is another opportunity to unite the faithful of Stella Maris Parish and honor their patron, Mary – Star of the Sea. The celebration will include Marian hymns, the Rosary prayer with the children in the Faith Formation Program forming a living Rosary, a Litany to the Blessed Mother as well as the devotional May Crowning of Mary. Also introduced at this event will be a Stella Maris Parish Passport; a summer activity for parishioners and guests involving a pilgrimage visit to the six Stella Maris Parish worship sites throughout Door County.

The Feast Day concludes with a reception sharing fellowship and eating delicious cake and ice cream. Everyone in attendance will receive a sacramental Rosary blessed by Pope Francis. For more information call Michelle Piatek at 920.854.4398 or 920.868.3241.
