IV Artists at Exhibit V

“After the Show Rose” by Tom Nachreiner.

Edgewood Orchard Galleries will host the Exhibit V reception on Aug. 30, 4 – 7 pm. This exhibit features the artwork of painters Tom Nachreiner and Jonathan Wilde, jeweler Elizabeth Garvin and glass artist Mark Sudduth. The artists will give short talks about their artwork at 5 pm in the gallery courtyard. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

On Aug. 31, 1 – 3 pm, Nachreiner will demonstrate his plein air oil painting process in the gallery courtyard. He will answer audience questions while creating a painting.

Driven by a passion for excellence, Nachreiner spent his earlier years as a nationally known figurative illustrator. More recent years have afforded him the privilege of a fine art rebirth, painting from his heart “en plein air” and giving year-round workshops.

Wilde captures rural Wisconsin landscapes and wildlife in his diverse paintings. His extensive knowledge of birds and nature is apparent in his beautiful and scientifically accurate works.

Garvin’s goal as a jewelry designer has been to create forms with classic elegance and enduring quality, while integrating various techniques and at times parting with tradition. Each piece of jewelry is handmade in her New York studio from sterling silver.

Sudduth has shown his original works of blown glass at Edgewood Orchard Galleries since 1983. Sudduth has long been known for his visually captivating line series pieces, which are hand blown and hand formed.

Exhibit V will be displayed through Sept. 25. Edgewood Orchard Galleries is located at 4140 Peninsula Players Road. For more information, call 920.868.3579 or visit edgewoodorchard.com.
