Jacksonport Craft Cottage Features Vintage Halloween Creations

The Jacksonport Craft Cottage is pleased to introduce Vintage Halloween Creations by Nancy Hoover. Inspired by vintage paper figures, Hoover has created hundreds of unique figures for Halloween.

Hoover’s creations include special “Door County” themed cabins, barns, and houses, featuring cherry designs. She also has Christmas holiday creations in her exclusive line.

Through her artwork, Hoover often supports the green effort by recycling all types of packaging, discarded wallpaper books, greeting cards, and thrift store and estate sale finds which give her pieces an interesting vintage feel.

A portion of the sales from Hoover’s Vintage Creations will support two Compassion International children. Knowing that her work has an impact on the lives of needy children gives her a greater incentive to keep creating.

Jacksonport Craft Cottage Gifts, open daily from 9 am to 5 pm through October, is located at 6275 Highway 57 in Jacksonport. From Nov. through May the store will be open from 9 am – 5 pm, Friday – Sunday, or by appointment.
