Jacksonport Craft Cottage Introduces Barn Star

To celebrate 27 years in business the Jacksonport Craft Cottage is creating a Star Spin decorative “barn star” for the front of their building. The Star Spin has been the shop’s most popular quilt to date.

The Craft Cottage, featuring over 125 local artists and craftsmen and nine Amish families from a six-state area, showcases local artwork, hand crafted gifts and Amish-made items. Lighthouse art, Amish quilts, wall hangings and rugs, handcrafted dolls and more are also featured in the1860s era restored log home.

The Feed The Fish DVD is also available. A portion of each sale will benefit the Jacksonport Fire Department for their continued efforts at the annual New Year’s Day Jacksonport Polar Bear Club swim. Thus far $250 has been donated.

Beginning May 1, the Craft Cottage will begin their summer hours and be open daily 9 am – 5 pm.
