Jacksonport Craft Cottage Settles in for Winter

As November nears, the Jacksonport Craft Cottage will transition to their winter business hours. From November through April, the Craft Cottage will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 am – 5 pm (or call ahead for requested hours).

The Craft Cottage features many beautifully made items for holiday gifts, hand crafted by local artists. Special features this month include pieces by Ken and Pat Klitzman.

A variety of hand carved Santa’s by Pat are wonderful for gift giving or for your own private collection. She specializes in Old World Santa Clauses and characters; however, she also creates some non-traditional figures in an assortment of sizes, which demonstrate the diversity and detail in the subjects that she can carve. Basswood, which is grown and milled locally in Door County, and cypress are her favorite carving woods for creating these unique collector pieces.

A beautiful selection of pen and ink on tile, wood and stone, as well as sand art, by Ken Klitzman are also on display for your gift selection.
