Program Highlights Integrative Health Services for People With Cancer

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry continues its Community Health Information Programs with an upcoming presentation about The Healing Project on May 7, 4 pm, at First Baptist Church, Sister Bay. The speaker will be Jennelle Berg, coordinator/provider for The Healing Project, a program administered within Door County Medical Center that provides free integrative health care services to people of all ages who are living with cancer.

The Healing Project is a comprehensive program providing seven different therapies for participants to learn about and experience firsthand. Therapies include acupuncture, massage, behavioral health counseling, nutrition counseling, energy therapy, mindfulness, and a screening with a physical therapist.

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry offers free blood pressure screenings beginning at 5 pm at the monthly Loaves & Fishes Meal on the fourth Tuesday of each month at St. Rosalia Church, and 8:15 – 10:15 am on the second Tuesday of the month at the YMCA in Fish Creek.
