Join Peninsula Songsters at Pen Park

A nature hike to learn more about the geology of the area and a program to learn more about the sounds of spring emanating from wildlife are among the spring nature programs being offered at Peninsula State Park.

Join the Peninsula State Park naturalist on March 21 from 1 – 2 pm for a trail walk from Hidden Bluff to Tennison Bay. Meet at the nature center and dress for the outdoors. Learn Niagara Escarpment facts, watch for evergreen ferns, and watch for migrating birds along a stretch of shore.

Stop by the Peninsula State Park Nature Center on March 28, 1 – 1:30 pm, for Peninsula Songsters. Designed for the young and the young at heart, this program features a refresher on spring singers like Wood Frogs, robins and Sandhill Cranes. An optional craft for kids follow the program.

These programs are free and open to the public. A state park admission sticker is needed for entrance to the park.
