Kellstrom-Ray Agency Marks 60 Years

The Kellstrom-Ray Agency, Inc. in Sister Bay is proud to announce that 2008 marks its 60th year in business. First established in 1948 by Kermit and Marion Kellstrom as The Kellstrom Agency, the business then included both real estate and insurance.

The Kellstroms were trusted members of the community who established a business policy of offering service with integrity and friendship. When Kathy and Don Ray bought the business in 1974, they built on that same, sound base. Fourth generation residents of Door County, Kathy and Don combined their intimate knowledge of the peninsula’s woodlands and coastlines with their belief in the values of hard work, honesty, and low pressure sales. The company continued to grow as The Kellstrom-Ray Agency, Inc.

In 1994, Heather Olson joined Kellstrom-Ray as a sales agent and personal assistant. Heather had a true affinity for sales and also helped with the day-to-day operation of the business. Also a Door County native, she bought the business in May 2007 and Kellstrom-Ray continues on as the successful and reputable Door County establishment it has always been.

Heather is joined by Kathy and Don Ray, Craig Bastian, Amie Olson, Gene Norby, and Amy Jorgenson as the firm enters its sixty-first year of existence.
