Large Crowd Gathered for Ellison Bay Tree Lighting

Ellison Bay’s tree lighting on Dec. 6 gathered quite the crowd for the annual event that celebrates the coming of Christmas. Along with the lighting there was a reading of the Christmas story by resident Lon Kopitzke and caroling by everyone in attendance. It was the largest holiday gathering in memory, with more than 200 Ellison Bay residents and visitors chiming in and enjoying a sumptuous chili feast at the nearby Mink River Basin Supper Club afterward.
