Learn to Communicate with Legislators via Letters

United Way of Door County and Write On, Door County are partnering to provide a two-part workshop which will provide effective strategies to communicate your concerns, opinions and requests about child care to your elected representatives through written communication. In addition, the workshop will help increase the chances your message is really read, understood and impactful in the way you want it to be.

Part one will be held on April 29, 6:30-8:00 pm. In this session, participants will think about your goals and your personal story, and working to combine those into your message in writing.  The workshop will include time for writing and sharing of feedback among participants.

Part two is held on May 4, 6:30-8 pm. In this final sessions, participants will do more work preparing a letter, including discussion and feedback among participants.
