In a recent letter, Thomas Moore criticizes letters written by George Krall. I have always enjoyed Krall’s letters because they are based on historical facts and are respectful of his readers. They are also beautifully written. Unlike his critic, Krall never uses sarcasm and seems to be tolerant of opinions that differ from his. Krall’s views are, I would say, a bit left of center, which seems to rankle his critic.
I would love to see letters or columns that champion the right but are as historical, respectful, and well written as are Krall’s.
