Local Author Signs Children’s Book

Local author Lynda Szcepanik will read and sign her children’s book, A Home for Trixie, at Novel Bay Booksellers, April 13, 10 am – 12 pm. 

After the reading, children can ask questions and share their thoughts. Additional book readings are planned for the morning. 

Illustrated by local artist Ben Toyne, the book centers on a stray kitten the author’s family found when apple-picking at a Door County orchard. The story is told from the perspective of the 5-month-old kitten, who follows the youngest Szcepanik child and soon becomes part of the family.
