Meet the Authors of Popular Mystery Series

The cozy-mystery genre is a rapidly growing one, and the Shady Hollow Mystery series is among the most popular. Written by Juneau Black, the series features a community of woodland creatures living in harmony.

Juneau Black is the pen name of Wisconsin authors Jocelyn Cole and Sharon Nagel, who will share tales about writing, sign books and talk about the next installment in the series July 8, 10 am – 1 pm, at Novel Bay Booksellers, 44 N. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay.

In the first book, Shady Hollow, the peace is shattered when a curmudgeonly toad turns up dead and the local reporter, a tenacious fox named Vera Vixen, leaps in to solve the case. As Vera stirs up still waters, she exposes more than one mystery and discovers that additional lives are in jeopardy.
