City of Sturgeon Bay: The City of Sturgeon Bay Ice Rink, located in the parking lot at Memorial Field at 307 S. 14thAve. is still open to the public while weather permits. An attendant is on duty daily during the following times, however please be aware the schedule may change at any time: Monday through Friday 4-8 pm;
Saturday Noon-8 pm; Sunday Noon-6 p.m. The city has a large assortment of ice skates that may be checked out during these hours at no charge, with everything from double-blade skates for beginners all the way up to men’s size 13. If anyone has ice skates they would like to donate to the city, you may drop them off at the ice rink during the hours listed above or at the Municipal Services office at 835 N. 14th Ave., Monday through Friday between 7 am and 3:30 pm.
County of Door: The Highway Committee meets at 10 am on Feb. 16 at the Highway Dept., 1001 S. Duluth Ave., Sturgeon Bay. The Library Board meets at 5 pm in the Jane Greene Room of the library, 107 S. 4th Ave., Sturgeon Bay on Feb. 16. The Law Enforcement Committee meets at the Door County Justice Center, 1201 S. Duluth Ave., Sturgeon Bay, at 8:30 am on Feb. 18. The Property Committee meets at the Door County Government Center at 4 pm on Feb. 18. The Land Conservation Committee is tentatively scheduled to meet at 8:30 am on Feb. 19. The Resource Planning Committee meets at 2 pm on Feb. 19.
Sevastopol School District: A special meeting of the Sevastopol Board of Education has been called for a discussion with state Representative Joel Kitchens at 6:30 pm on Feb. 16.
Town of Egg Harbor: The town board meets at 7 pm on Feb. 16.
Town of Forestville: The town board meets at 7 pm on Feb. 16.
Town of Liberty Grove: The town board meets at 7 pm on Feb. 18.
Town of Union: The town board meets at 6:30 pm on Feb. 17.
Town of Washington Island: The town board meets at 7 pm on Feb. 17.
Village of Egg Harbor: The Public Art Committee meets at 8 am on Feb. 16. The Utility Committee meets at 10 am on Feb. 18.
Village of Sister Bay: The Marketing Committee meets at 3 pm on Feb. 17. The village board meets at 6 pm on Feb. 17.
