New App Identifies Leaves

Nature lovers might want to check out Leafsnap, a new iPhone app that identifies trees. Take a picture of a leaf, and this app will identify the tree and give you all sorts of information about it. The app is the result of collaboration between Columbia University, the University of Maryland and the Smithsonian.
