New Bridge Opening Delayed

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has delayed the opening of the Maple to Oregon Street Bridge to Sept. 20 after originally slating it for Aug. 23.

The delay is meant to give contractors time to test systems comprehensively, and the old Michigan Street will remain open until the new bridge is ready. Weight restrictions on the Michigan St. Bridge will remain in force and law enforcement will continue to enforce.
